EDUCATION ASSISTANT
Assist in the production of educational materials at the Washington State History Museum's Education Department. Ability to design, create, and assist with graphics needs for educational material and programs considered a plus. This position requires good research skills and graphic ability, and is perfect for marketing, computer graphics, history majors or students seeking their education endorsement

Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00, part-time hours vary

SCHOOL PROGRAMS ASSISTANT
Work with staff and volunteers in greeting school tours, orienting students, assisting with educational programs and facilitating school tour visits. Additional opportunities may be available for curriculum and gallery sheet development as well as workshop facilitation, depending on interest. This position is perfect for students wishing to work with children or in the field of public or academic history.

HISTORY LAB ASSISTANT
Work with Curator of History Lab and volunteers in a facilitated one and one half hour History Lab teaching students from fourth to twelfth grade historical inquiry in an exciting interpretive lab. This position is best suited for those wishing to pursue teaching.
